In managing the rapid transition of regional communities to adapt to the new triple bottom line fundamentals of the post oil/climate change world, implementation of Ecologically Sustainable Projects is expected to become a significant employment generator. 

As the primary vehicle to deliver the Those Best Placed Companies mission to give effect to Ecologically Sustainable Development the Public Forum website operates exclusively in the public interest.  That public interest will be defined both from the top down by Governments and Business Stakeholders, and from the bottom up through the initiatives of community stakeholders.

Those Best Placed Companies are structured such that Project Teams who are pursuing community environmental initiatives will draw largely on exisiting social capital, whereas Government and Business Project Team initiatives would be funded and resourced (at least partially) by Government and Business.  In both circumstances real jobs will be created by the value adding that is enabled through the community building capacity of Those Best Placed e Networking Services, and potentially by Those Best Placed Consumer Advocacy Services.

Unlike traditional forms of capital, social capital is not depleted by use, but is in fact depleted by non-use.  The metaphor of "capital" may be misleading because unlike financial capital, which is a resource held by an individual, the benefits of forms of social organization are not held by actors, but are results of the participation of actors in advantageously organized groups.

The Public Forum's capacity to gather, empower and co-ordinate community based Project Teams dedicated to providing triple bottom line solutions and responses to specific regional environmental problems is expected to attract ongoing State and Commonwealth funding.
