Those Best Placed Welcome

Ecologically Sustainable Development (ESD) is a worldwide phenomenon which speaks to the community's deep concerns over the environment.  Governments in NSW and QLD now have a statutory objective to:

“ enable those best placed to maximise benefits or minimise costs to develop their own solutions and responses to environmental problems. ”

Those Best Placed will give effect to that statutory objective, through engaging and employing social  and economic capital in the development and delivery of solutions and responses to regional and national environmental issues with Governments, Regulators and the Private Sector Australia wide, according to the Principles of ESD.

We are integrators. We are environmental consumer advocates. We are agents of social democracy.

We are building a future which must come, and understand that the past has passed.  We accept our responsibility now for those in the future, whose thanks we will never hear.

Membership of Those Best Placed Public Forum is provided at no charge, in the public interest, in order to provide an umbrella under which all regional communities may engage with Government and Business to deliver environmentally, socially and economically sustainable solutions to regional environmental problems.
